National Solar Power (NSP) is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. The intent of this privacy policy is to detail the information NSP may gather about customers who visit its Web sites, how that information is used, and NSP's disclosure practices. Please note that this policy applies only to NSP's Web sites and not to the Web sites of other companies or organizations to which we provide links via our web site. In the course of serving its customers, NSP acquires, stores and transmits customer communications and information that customers may regard as private or sensitive. Some of this information - such as the customer's name, address, telephone number, and credit card data - is provided to NSP by its customers in order to establish service. Other information - such as the customer's account status and choice of services is created and maintained by NSP in the normal course of providing service. None of this information will be disclosed to any party, only within NSP Company itself. NSP also uses cookies on the landing pages of products sold online which record the referring URL required for the order form processor itself.

Visit Information

NSP gathers "visit" information from all visitors that visit NSP Web sites. Such data is used in the aggregate, to help determine general usage patterns, how the site was accessed and fine tune layout in order to ensure that our sites are as useful and enjoyable as possible. This "visit" and statistical information will not be made public information.

Individual User Information

Individually identifiable information will not be released without that individual's prior consent. Visitors are specifically asked for individually identifiable information when signing up to use certain NSP services. In some iNSPances, users may be asked for personal interest and/or demographic information in order to create a more customized user experience; however these fields will generally be optional.

NSP and/or its partners may wish to contact individual users regarding community news or to make promotional offers. However, such communications will only be delivered to users who have previously approved them.

NSP will not disclose any of its customers' personal and account information unless NSP has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action agaiNSP someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of NSP or NSP's customers.

Data Security

NSP will protect the confidentiality of its customers' information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law. To protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information that is collected from customers, NSP has appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place to secure this information.

How is customer information used?

Unless otherwise stated NSP will not share any customer information with partners, affiliates or company representatives. NSP may use customer information to provide its customers with quotes/invoices or information about new or upgraded products.

Opt Out & Modifications

Customers may opt out of receiving notices of new or upgraded products from NSP by sending a request to info@nationalsolarpower.com.au. In this request to info@nationalsolarpower.com.au, customers must identify: products/services purchased from NSP, domain name (if applicable), contact information, and the date the purchase was made. However, customers may not opt out of receiving information from NSP which is essential for maintaining or updating customers' accounts or system information.

Disclosure

NSP reserves the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests or to protect itself or its users. Where practical, NSP will attempt to obtain the prior consent of the individual prior to disclosing individually identifiable information. NSP reserves the right to revise this privacy policy at anytime without notice.
